Background

Liu Muyuan was originally a prodigy Dao cultivator from the Great Yu Kingdom. After reaching the Eighth Primordial Spirit Refinement, he acquired a Supreme Treasure containing an inheritance that could have paved his way to Ninth Refinement. A fellow disciple discovered this acquisition and ambushed him during his breakthrough attempt, stealing the treasure and nearly shattering his Primordial Spirit. 276

He survived by using a teleportation token to cross into the Northern Wasteland Region of Great Jin, eventually reaching the Yong Kingdom. There, he reincarnated into the identity of “Liu Muyuan.” His injuries could not be healed and worsened whenever he exerted his Daoist magic, forcing him to conceal his true cultivation while rebuilding himself through the Martial Path. 276
