As the first ray of sunlight pierced the deep forest, a new day began.

The Treasure Hunting Team had been traveling for some time already. They could not linger too long in the dangerous core region of the Star Dou Great Forest. Finding the Soul Bone as quickly as possible and retreating promptly was the ideal plan.

Unfortunately, the soul master who had bought the Soul Bone had taken it into the Life Forbidden Zone of the Star Dou Great Forest. The Treasure Hunting Team was still some distance from the Life Forbidden Zone, but if they picked up the pace, they should reach it before noon.

"Jin Ling, we'll be counting on you when the time comes. You must do your best to find the Soul Bone," Wind Concealment said to Jin Ling, who was traveling beside him.

"Don't worry. I won't let you down!"

Rota had no idea whether anything had happened in the tent last night, nor did he want to know. However, judging by Jin Ling's current appearance, last night had clearly not been so simple.

"Fick, how far are we from the outskirts of the Life Forbidden Zone?" Reid asked.

"Not far. At most, about ten kilometers!" Fick replied as he looked at the Soul Tool in his hand.

"Is that so? Then let's put some effort into it, everyone!"

Reid gave everyone a little encouragement. They were finally about to enter the Life Forbidden Zone, one step closer to the Soul Bone.

Thinking of this, Reid could not help glancing back at Wind Concealment and Jin Ling, who were talking. Their operation had gone so smoothly largely thanks to Wind Concealment. Without his concealment soul skill, they would surely have suffered heavy losses before reaching the Life Forbidden Zone.

"Beyond this point lies the Life Forbidden Zone. Everyone, be careful. The soul beasts inside are not the same as those in the core region."

If they could still deal with the soul beasts in the core region, then any soul beast from within the Life Forbidden Zone could easily wipe out their entire team.

Rota, following at the back, did not think much of it. Xiao Wu's family lived inside, and he had even chatted with Xiao Wu and the others before setting out.

If Rota had known the whereabouts of the Soul Bone, there would have been no need to wait for this slow-moving Treasure Hunting Team. Still, the journey had not been without gains. Rota had discovered two talents worth nurturing.

The Treasure Hunting Team now officially stepped into this terrifying place known as the Life Forbidden Zone. Even Super Douluos did not dare enter this place lightly.

If not for Wind Concealment's special soul skill, Reid and the others would not have dared try even if they had ten times the courage.

"Jin Ling, it's your turn. Search for the Soul Bone's location now," Reid immediately ordered. They absolutely could not waste time in the Life Forbidden Zone.

"Alright, no problem."

Jin Ling did not hesitate and directly activated her Martial Soul. "Feng Shui Mirror Martial Soul, Third Soul Skill, Path of Treasure Hunting!"

"Feng Shui Mirror? It looks like quite a mysterious Martial Soul~" Rota muttered to himself.

Seeing Jin Ling's Martial Soul made Rota even more determined to recruit Wind Concealment and Jin Ling. He was determined to keep these two people from this operation, because Rota had long held an idea in his heart.

"Seventh Soul Skill, Martial Soul Avatar!"

In order to find the Soul Bone's location faster, Jin Ling completely disregarded the consumption after activating her Martial Soul Avatar and directly used it to enhance the effect of her soul skill.

A mirror engraved with symbols resembling the Eight Trigrams appeared in Jin Ling's hand. This should have been Jin Ling's Martial Soul, the Feng Shui Mirror.

The Eight Trigrams pattern on the Feng Shui Mirror began spinning rapidly. A golden ripple spread out from Jin Ling, directly covering a vast area.

"No, this still isn't enough!"

Jin Ling immediately increased her Soul Power output, and the Feng Shui Mirror's detection range expanded by another circle.

It looked somewhat similar to Observation Haki. If Rota knew what this Soul Bone looked like, it would not have been difficult to find.

"Found it!"

With Jin Ling continuously channeling Soul Power to expand her detection range, the Soul Bone was finally discovered.

"Where exactly is it?" The tightly furrowed brows on Reid's face finally relaxed slightly.

Wind Concealment, however, paid no attention to the Soul Bone. Instead, he walked over to Jin Ling and asked about her condition.

"Are you alright, Jin Ling?"

While everyone else was asking about the Soul Bone's location, only Wind Concealment was concerned about Jin Ling.

"I'm fine. The urgent matter is finding the Soul Bone as soon as possible."

A route map began to appear on the surface of the Feng Shui Mirror, looking exactly like a GPS navigation system!

"I never thought this old man would see something from Earth again, even if it's just a high-quality imitation!"

Seeing Jin Ling's soul skill, Rota could not help feeling nostalgic. All he could say was that Jin Ling's Martial Soul was truly incredible.

"Jin Ling, you can put away your Martial Soul. I've memorized it already. Everyone, follow me. This is the final critical moment, so don't let me down!" Reid could no longer hide his excitement.

Fick was just as excited. If so many people had not been watching, he might have laughed aloud in delight.

The wide-range search had consumed quite a bit of Jin Ling's strength. After eating some food to recover, Wind Concealment took the initiative to carry Jin Ling on his back as they continued forward.

"You did very well, Jin Ling!" Wind Concealment praised her sincerely.

"Oh, no, compared to you, my role is far too small." Jin Ling was so embarrassed by Wind Concealment's praise that her face turned red as she leaned against his back.

"We'll be able to get out soon!"

Wind Concealment's words immediately startled Rota. That was one hell of a flag to raise—nine times out of ten, people who said something like that ended up dead!

"Forget it, forget it. They probably don't know what a flag is. Luckily, this old man is here this time, or you'd all probably be done for~"

Though flags were merely something people said jokingly, it was as if those words were cursed. Anyone who said them never came to a good end.

Rota wondered whether this flag would come true for Wind Concealment and Jin Ling. He decided to stay extra vigilant; they were talents he intended to recruit, after all. He could not let them kick the bucket so easily.

"Isn't this just raising the difficulty of the game for this old man?!" Rota looked at Wind Concealment with weary eyes.

Led by Reid, the Treasure Hunting Team soon arrived near the location of the Soul Bone.

"It should be around here, right, Jin Ling?" Reid wanted to confirm it once more.

"Yes. I detected that the Soul Bone is inside the hollow of that enormous tree about a hundred meters ahead."

Jin Ling activated her soul skill again for a precise scan. Earlier, she had only determined the general location; the search range had simply been too vast for greater accuracy.

Now that they were extremely close to the Soul Bone, Jin Ling could naturally detect its exact location.

"Excellent. It's right before our eyes!"

Reid could feel his heart pounding unusually fast. Perhaps he was nervous, perhaps excited, or perhaps afraid.

This was a Life Forbidden Zone that even Super Douluo did not dare enter lightly, yet he had made it inside without so much as a scratch. It was truly unbelievable, though all of it was thanks to Wind Concealment.

"Wind Concealment, you've truly worked hard this time! You'll be well rewarded once we're out!" Reid looked at Wind Concealment gratefully.

"It is already enough for me that Lord Reid trusts in my abilities."

All that remained was to retrieve the Soul Bone, but to be safe, they definitely could not all go together.

"Which of you is willing to retrieve this Soul Bone?" Reid asked.

Everyone looked at one another, but no one volunteered.
