First Conversation with Tamayo

The young people gathered around Tamayo's clinic awkwardly scattered after noticing Rota looking at them.

Rota could not help but sigh at their behavior. Such a shy personality was nothing like a real man—how could they win a girl's heart?

Once the onlookers dispersed, the queue was noticeably less than half its previous size. Rota lightly closed his eyes and quietly waited in the line of patients.

Before long, it was Rota's turn. Tamayo looked at him kindly from inside the clinic and smiled as she gestured for him to come over.

Rota did not waste any time. He slowly ambled over to Tamayo and sat down.

"Sir, is there anywhere you feel unwell?" Tamayo's gentle voice lingered by Rota's ear, making him feel quite at ease.

"May I ask if you are Miss Tamayo? This old man learned of you from Tougen Akiyama and came here specifically to pay you a visit."

"Mr. Akiyama introduced you?"

Rota nodded lightly and praised her steadily. "That's right. Mr. Akiyama praised your medical skills to the skies before this old man. I have always enjoyed meeting capable and extraordinary people, so I took this opportunity to visit Miss Tamayo."

Unlike ordinary doctors, Tamayo did not rush Rota. Instead, she responded to his topic with great patience.

"You flatter me, sir. I only know a little and cannot be considered particularly skilled." Tamayo smiled as she touched her cheek. She was happy that others had praised her medical abilities.

After exchanging enough pleasantries, Rota prepared to get to the point. He leaned forward slightly, and Tamayo knowingly moved her head closer.

Rota whispered softly into Tamayo's ear. Her expression froze for an instant before returning to normal. She softly replied, "Please wait here for a moment, sir. Let me finish today's work first."
