After two days of travel, Rengoku Kyojuro and his group arrived in the great city known as Tokyo.

Unlike the small towns around the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters, Tokyo was a genuine metropolis. Moreover, it was now the Taishō Period, and Japan's industry had developed by leaps and bounds. Electric lamps stood everywhere along the streets, their glow making the city shine brilliantly.

Even at night, the electric lights made it seem like daytime. Though it was clearly nighttime, Tokyo's streets were still filled with pedestrians out for a stroll.

Rengoku Kyojuro was not overly surprised. He had come here once before while on a mission and already had a basic understanding of Tokyo.

Mitsuri was different. This was truly her first time visiting a major city like Tokyo, and she had yet to recover from her shock.

"So this is Tokyo? Everything around us is sparkling—it's so beautiful!"

Rengoku Kyojuro did not rush Mitsuri. Instead, he chimed in from the side, "Of course! Tokyo is a highly industrialized place, so naturally it's livelier than the little towns where we come from!"

"Master, are there lots of delicious things to eat here?" Mitsuri asked, widening her eyes as she looked at Rengoku Kyojuro expectantly.

Rengoku Kyojuro had only happened to visit Tokyo once before. If asked about its food, he could not explain it all clearly either, so he could only answer simply, "Though I'm not entirely sure myself, there must be plenty. After the mission, how about we take a good look around Tokyo?"

"Okay, okay! I'll work hard on this mission too!" With a goal in mind, Mitsuri was filled with motivation, and the last trace of nervousness vanished without a trace.

"Time is of the essence. I'll arrange our objectives first. Mitsuri,
