"Kanao, does this mean we're heading to the Butterfly Mansion now?" Tanjiro asked curiously as Kanao pulled him along.
"That's right. You're the first friend my age that I've made, so of course I have to introduce you to my family."
"Your first friend your age? Kanao, please forgive my rudeness, but... have you never had friends before?" Tanjiro looked at Kanao in confusion.
Kanao gently nodded, her eyes lowering slightly as she said slowly, "Because of certain personality issues, I never really made any friends. Thankfully, Grandpa and my sisters guided me and helped me break free from that terrible personality."
Tanjiro was happy for Kanao as well. Although he did not know much about her past, her sincere smile was enough to warm his heart.
