Book of the Sage could be considered essential equipment for all mage heroes, as well as one of the most powerful magic items in the game. Not only did it provide an enormous boost to magic attack, but it also increased health by 1,600 points, greatly improving the survivability of fragile mages.
However, Sikong Zhen's role was not entirely that of a mage. His damage included both magic and physical damage, and he was better suited for the solo lane. But this was not the world of Honor of Kings, so such classifications naturally did not exist here.
