After several days of travel, our group of eighteen arrived at this city from the Burning Flame Valley. It was very close to the West Underworld Earth Hall where Yao Lao was being held; if we flew, we could reach it in two or three hours.
"Senior Feng, Senior Tang, Yao Lao is being held nearby. We'll rest in the city tonight and recover our strength. Tomorrow, we'll set out to rescue Yao Lao."
After leaving the Space Wormhole in Lost Soul City, I gazed beyond the city walls. Far in the distance, I could vaguely make out a towering mountain range shrouded in dense white mist. Just looking at it from afar brought a chilling, sinister feeling. It was the Mountain Range of Dead Souls, and the West Underworld Earth Hall was deep within those mountains.
Wind Venerable and Tang Zhen nodded. I had arranged everything throughout the journey—when we traveled, slept, and ate was all up to me—so they had grown accustomed to it.
They said nothing more. Leading the elders beside me away from the Space Wormhole plaza, I found an inn and settled in.
The inn was elegantly furnished. Its courtyard had artificial hills and flowing water, while a grove of verdant bamboo swayed in the breeze. The scenery was quite pleasant.
I looked around and, seeing no one paying attention to us, hurriedly took something from my Ring of Holding and handed it to Little Fairy Doctor. Lowering my voice, I said, "Little Fairy Doctor, I'll have to trouble you to make another trip."
Little Fairy Doctor snatched it up with incredible speed and tucked it into her Ring of Holding, quick as a ghost. It was none
