The chip design—including IC design, simulation, chip architecture, and algorithm design—had all been completed independently by Mo Nv. This was the first time Artificial Intelligence had independently designed such a complex product. If it were made public, it would definitely cause a huge sensation.
Chen Mo was eager to see whether the chips designed by Mo Nv would actually work.
Mo Nv had designed four types of chips: Intelligent Robot Chips, Mobile Phone Chips, Computer Chips, and, most importantly, Supercomputer Chips. This was the first chip to undergo verification—the Intelligent Robot Chip.
Once the Superconducting Chips were ready, they would first be installed in Intelligent Robots to improve their work efficiency. Chen Mo had promised Mo Nv that he would help her create a beautiful body. If the Intelligent Robot Chip design succeeded, that matter would also have to be put on the agenda.
After entering the laboratory, Chen Mo saw more than a dozen two-centimeter-square chips neatly arranged on the test bench. Intelligent Robot Chips needed to perform complex, high-speed non-logical calculations, so they were much larger than Computer Chips.
Chen Mo examined the chips closely. They had not yet been packaged and differed from ordinary chips. Ordinary chips had a metallic, copper-gold sheen on their surfaces, while these had a crystal-like bright luster.
These unpackaged chips were all damaged chips.
The chips still used high-purity polycrystalline silicon as their substrate, but the circuitry inside them did not use copper wires like ordinary chips. Instead, it used silicon carbide, a Room-Temperature Superconducting Material.
This tiny chip required more than 260 steps and over a thousand procedures to produce. It was the crystallization of the highest level of information technology.
These chips had taken quite a bit of effort
