Zhao Min sat on the sofa, with Chen Mo seated opposite her.
"How's the cooperation going?" Zhao Min asked.
Li Chengzhi had left with the drug samples and experimental data ten days ago. There had been no news during those ten days. They were all waiting for Li Chengzhi's reply. After all, this was their first collaboration, so they had no choice but to take it seriously.
"No news for now," Chen Mo said.
He was not anxious. He believed the drug would work; this was an excellent opportunity, and the higher-ups could not possibly refuse to cooperate with him. Even if they chose not to cooperate, they would at least send some kind of response.
"Should we contact Mr. Li and ask what's going on?"
"No need. If they want to cooperate, they'll contact us themselves," Chen Mo said leisurely.
"You really can take things in stride." Zhao Min spoke helplessly. "I'm actually a little nervous. This is also my first time dealing with cooperation with the higher-ups. With such sensitive technology, I don't even know what kind of arrangement we should use."
"That is indeed a problem. Although we're cooperating with them, they're the ones who will truly benefit. The profits we make will definitely be limited. This is merely a stepping stone."
"What if the higher-ups want to buy out the technology or acquire it outright?" Zhao Min voiced the concern she had been holding back during this time.
This was what they feared most.
If the technology were bought out, the benefits they received would be even smaller. They had already taken a certain risk by bringing out that drug, considering its immense impact. If the higher-ups wanted to acquire it and they refused, things would become even more troublesome.
"I've considered that too. Doing so
