Wang Hai set the intelligence report aside and studied the holographic map before him. The map was divided into different colors and showed complete terrain along with the distribution of villages and towns.
This was the tribal distribution along the Congo border, though it was only a portion of it.
In the years since the global energy revolution, three regions had suffered the worst losses: South America, the Middle East, and Africa.
The Middle East was doing relatively well. Several kingdoms there had invested in global technology companies early on, accelerating domestic industrialization. Their royal families also knew how to take precautions, so while the losses hurt, they remained within an acceptable range. Furthermore, several royal families had begun resolving old grudges and pursuing joint development, allowing the region to recover rapidly.
South America and Africa were the most chaotic.
South America had become a target of the North American Group. Although several South American nations had formed an alliance, some smaller countries had already fallen into domestic chaos under the manipulation of the Black Hand. The situation across the South American continent was far from optimistic.
Africa was much the same. Some nations relied entirely on resource exports as the backbone of their economies.
With coal nearing obsolescence and oil prices plummeting, the region had suffered enormous losses. Caught unprepared, their economies had entered severe turmoil, domestic unrest had begun, and tribes had started fighting over new resources as the basis for their survival.
Conflict was unavoidable.
"Instructor, what should we do on our side?" The voice over the call belonged to Xitu, and it was extremely solemn.
"What do you think?" Wang Hai's expression remained composed and unreadable.
