The Fairy Maiden hovered above the Martian ocean.
This ocean had formed after the asteroid impact. It was also Mars's largest ocean at present, and Chen Mo had named it Mo Ocean. The seawater reflected the red sky. Though it was noon, it looked like dusk.
"Request approved. Begin deploying Oxygen-producing Bacteria."
The Fairy Maiden received instructions from Earth. Its cargo bay opened, and barrels of microorganisms dropped from it like dumplings falling into a pot, smashing open in Mo Ocean. The water containing the microorganisms mixed into the Martian seawater.
The patch of Mo Ocean beneath the Fairy Maiden gradually turned green as barrel after barrel containing Oxygen-producing Bacteria broke open. Barrels bearing the Ant Army Group's emblem still floated on the surface.
Once the Oxygen-producing Bacteria had been deployed, Water Purification Bacteria, Atmosphere Purification Bacteria, and Decomposition Bacteria were released into Mo Ocean in succession. The ocean contained every element microorganisms needed, making it a breeding ground for them.
Elsewhere, the Divine Maiden scattered Soil Modification Bacteria across Mars's lands. Only after the final plant seeds and the Growth Agent that accelerated plant growth had been deployed did the Divine Maiden fly above a plain near the ocean.
"Requesting deployment of Nanobots."
After receiving approval from Earth, the Divine Maiden slowly descended onto the plain. With robots handling the transport, a large iron barrel was moved onto the Martian plain and opened. Gray material was poured from the barrel onto the soil, while several small companion robots were released from the cargo bay.
With all tasks complete, the Divine Maiden slowly rose into the air and returned to Earth.
