Lizard Head sat comfortably in a chair aboard the spaceship, his claws tapping against the bar. His sharp nails struck the specially made surface with a clear dinging sound.
The expedition was still underway.
The Laniakea Supercluster was vast. Due to its barrenness and the abundance of Space Turbulence, the Universe Alliance had yet to develop this region.
There were almost no artificial spatial jump points built by the Universe Alliance in this area, only some naturally formed ones. However, they were highly unstable.
These unstable spatial jump points were among the greatest dangers of space exploration.
If a black hole or Space Turbulence appeared near a jump point, they could be placed in danger, or randomly transported by the turbulence to some unknown corner of the universe.
Without bearings or a star map, getting lost would put all of them in danger.
Quite a few expedition teams had come here to explore, only to disappear in the end.
Several missing cases had been discovered two billion light-years away from the Laniakea Supercluster, their spacecraft already crushed apart by space.
"Professor Lan Shi, how long are we planning to keep this expedition going?" Lizard Head leisurely sipped an unidentified drink in his hand.
"Not certain. At least 500 Original Point Days."
Lan Shi rested his claws before a small robot and had it trim them.
"That's a little long." Lizard Head handed his glass to the robot tending the bar, and before long, received another full drink.
"An expedition isn't a vacation." Torrell blinked his third eye as he carefully browsed the light screen in his hand, occasionally lifting his drink for a sip. "The Laniakea Supercluster is hundreds of millions of light-years wide. Five hundred days of investigation would only count as one lap around it."
"There aren't any
