Time Superpowers were extremely special. Chen Mo immersed himself in them, hoping to observe the fluctuations and changes within.
The fluctuations were peculiar. Chen Mo felt as though he were standing upon a Time Axis.
The sensation was unusual. The last time he had felt this way was when he copied Xiao Yu's superpower.
Somi's attention was focused entirely on the flowers and plants in the laboratory, controlling their growth.
Chen Mo could clearly see the trajectories of the atoms within the flowers and plants.
In his eyes—no, in Somi's eyes—the plants he saw were like a movie. He could adjust the Time Axis at any moment. With every "adjustment" of the Time Axis, the plant would bloom, wither, grow, shed its leaves, and gradually mature.
The objective existence of time was formed by the movement and changes of matter, then perceived by consciousness.
Time Superpowers were similar to telekinesis, but fundamentally different.
Telekinesis could control the changes and movement of matter, but it did not alter matter according to the laws of motion it would follow in the future. Telekinesis was not a Time Superpower.
Telekinesis used the external force of consciousness to interfere with and alter matter's original movements and changes. It could arbitrarily mold matter into different shapes and even change its essence.
Time Superpowers, however, used consciousness to accelerate matter's movements and changes. They only changed an object's appearance in its objective past and future, and could not turn it into another form.
For example, telekinesis could turn a tree into a sapling or a towering tree. It could even turn it into a wooden cup or furniture.
Time Superpowers could only turn a tree into a sapling or a towering tree, then let it decay and wither once it reached the end of its lifespan.
