"Chairman, what is it?"

"Did you hire an assistant today?" Chen Mo asked.

"How did you know? She's an intern from Binhai University, a rather delicate-looking girl. She seemed familiar, but I forgot where I'd seen her before. I happened to be short an assistant. Though she lacks experience, she has good qualities and can be trained, so I had her serve as my assistant for now."

"What? Got your eye on my assistant?" Zhao Min teased.

"Eye on her, my ass. She's mine." Chen Mo was speechless.

"Yours?"

Surprise filled Zhao Min's voice. She fell silent in thought, then a moment later, realization dawned on her.

"No wonder she looked so familiar. She's the girl who was with you that night. Wait, she doesn't know the company belongs to you?"

"I didn't tell her," Chen Mo said.

"You're really something. You started such a huge company, and your girlfriend has no idea." Zhao Min's voice was teasing. "Are you planning to keep it from her forever?"

"I plan to let things take their course. If she asks, I'll tell her. Sooner or later, she'll discover it herself. I don't want to suddenly tell her and disrupt her life because of this. I only found out she joined the company when she came back and told me today."

"So you called to inform me about this?"

"No. I want you to guide her at the company, help her become capable of standing on her own." Chen Mo said.
