Chen Mo stood inside a production workshop, where robots handled the entire process automatically. One massive circular device after another was being printed, each over forty meters in diameter.

These devices were Space Amplifiers, the most important components of a Space Connector.

While in the Small Universe, Chen Mo had developed Space Connector Technology and now possessed complete technical reserves. As long as there were sufficient materials, manufacturing could be completed. Thus, the construction of the Space Connector was progressing quickly. The main framework had been completed, and all that remained was to install these specialized components.

Using a Space Connector required two spaces with different frequencies to connect, such as the connection between the Small Universe and the Main Universe. The Space Trap had rendered the Shi Gan Star System semi-sealed, changing its spatial frequency and amplitude. Space within the star system could no longer fold, distinguishing it from the Main Universe.

Without the Space Trap, a Space Connector could only connect the Main Universe with the alternate space of a Small Universe. It could not open a passage between two star systems, because the space of all star systems in the Main Universe shared the same frequency.

Chen Mo had read some of the Universe Alliance's history and major events.

One hundred sixty million years ago, a Humanoid Race being named Ai Sen Luo Er had proposed the bold concept of the "Universe Village": use Space Traps to seal barren, lifeless star systems, alter their spatial frequencies, and mass-produce Space Connectors along their edges as cosmic transportation hubs. Then, use the Space Connectors within those systems to link every corner of the universe, greatly reducing the risks and time involved in long-distance spatial jumps. One could travel to any corner of the universe in the shortest possible time.
