Kaliyi looked around at her surroundings.
Judging by its appearance and layout, this was an underground organization.
Were the beings recruiting her part of a dark organization? The thought made Kaliyi frown. As an upright Star General, she had no fondness for the dark world.
But now that she had accepted their invitation, she could only keep moving forward.
Boötes City had decayed beyond repair, already threatening the safety of her and her people. She had no choice but to seek help.
Upon entering the main hall, Kaliyi saw the leader of this mysterious organization.
A female being?
The answer came as quite a surprise to her.
It was rare in the universe for a large underground organization to be controlled by a female being.
Besides the female leader seated at the head, there were two other beings below her.
Star Generals.
With a Star General's instincts, she could sense the other two Star Generals.
Other Star Generals had accepted the same recruitment offer and come here just as she had. These two were probably going to be her future colleagues.
"Welcome." Poison Skin Woman spoke in a cold voice. It was a lingering habit from living in the dark world, where there was no such thing as emotion. "Before taking on your major responsibilities, you will undergo Star General training. Only after passing it can you assume those responsibilities."
"Star General training?"
Kaliyi raised her brow and exchanged glances with the other two Star Generals, seeing surprise in both their eyes.

That single detail concealed an enormous amount of information. They were not novice Star Generals, but battle-hardened veterans. Yet they were still required to undergo training, which meant there were Star Generals stronger than them serving as instructors.
