Of course, only some of them did.

Just as the Snake-People Tribe in the Tagor Desert had built a royal city exclusively for themselves, Warcraft clans without a Dou Saint—in other words, clans without Ninth-Level Warcrafts—built sturdy city walls and distinctively styled buildings within their territories in the outside world.

As for Warcraft clans with Dou Saints, most of them lived in Small Worlds created by Dou Saints. It could not be said that they had no cities, but these Warcraft clans possessed more than just one city. The space they lived in was, in fact, their city.

And such cities...

Were usually invisible to outsiders...

This was another reason why the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan had not marched straight to the Heavenly Swan Clan's doorstep. Fighting on territory that the Heavenly Swan Clan had managed for generations would only put the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan at a disadvantage.

Thus, clans such as the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan, the Heavenly Swan Clan, the Nine Netherworld Python Clan, and the Void Ancient Dragon Clan, along with many other Warcraft clans possessing Dou Saints, had no Spatial Spaceship docking points in their cities. No public Spatial Spaceship could freely enter or leave their Small Worlds, giving them something of an isolationist air.

Of course, it was only somewhat like that.

There was still a considerable difference from true isolation.

The most fundamental difference was that isolation meant sealing off both inside and outside, whereas for those Warcraft clans living in Small Worlds, only "public" Spatial Spaceships were denied entry. Returning Home travelers like Feng Qing Er would be accepted by the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan whether she rode a flying Warcraft or took a Spatial Spaceship.

It was equivalent to a semi-intelligent screening mechanism.
