This was probably Mediva's first time taking off from flat ground after growing this huge. When she left this world before, she had already enlarged herself, but she had not reached this scale yet. While she stayed in Vanilla's world, she had been stuck in the surface rock of a valley. After returning to Earth, we had never let her fly in her true form either—mainly because we were afraid she might cause a traffic accident. Shadow City's air traffic was pretty busy, and that bird was astigmatic... In the end, the bird had absolutely no idea how much of a commotion she would cause by hopping around at her current size. When she took off, she blew away a whole crowd—two unlucky inspectors had barely stepped out of the Dimensional Hub's gate before getting flapped straight back inside.
After Mediva left Shadow City, we briefly lost contact with them, but that had been expected. By then, it was certain that Vanilla's world lay far from the Macro World Network, in a rather distant unexplored region. Though distance had no real meaning in the void, every world at least had a different "frequency," and once that difference reached a certain level, even the Shilin Apostles' Spiritual Connection had to be recalibrated before it could connect again. Even the god race could not avoid this problem, which was why contact between the Star Domain and Huron was not particularly close. On the Empire's side, Huron had even become a god system known only by name. Reestablishing their Spiritual Connection between Vanilla's world and Earth would probably take a day or two.
This was what Anweina had been worried about. If they lost contact for a day or two, Little Crow might get sold off—at least, that was what she believed.
