I was surprised to discover that no matter where one went, the switches on most high-tech gadgets were operated by pressing them—this utterly pointless thought flashed through my mind before I sensed the space around us beginning to warp. A stable Teleportation Channel was being projected around us through remote equipment. Anu Lili seemed to be waiting for the "ordinary people" before her to show shocked expressions, so I could not help nudging Miss Lin's arm. "Hey, Lin Brat, shouldn't we gasp or something?"

Lin Xue shot me a glare. Before she had even finished rolling her eyes, the spatial teleportation activated.

The light before our eyes twisted violently. The ceiling and four walls were covered in silvery-white alloy, while the floor was a slightly darker grayish white, with the texture of battleship armor plating.
