(Since I had nothing better to do anyway, I might as well ask for monthly votes... It seemed I'd messed around enough in the Merrowa People's world. I needed to quickly think of a miserable ending for Barrian...)
The Empire Fleet had completely blockaded God's Kingdom. Our ships held an overwhelming advantage over Barrian's resistance fleet. Those motley fleets he had deployed in high orbit looked as though they possessed virtually no combat capability worth mentioning. I even doubted whether those obviously hastily assembled fleets could withstand a single round of saturated bombardment from the Empire Army.
On the surface, this battle seemed entirely without suspense. The disparity in strength between the two sides was obvious, and one side now had practically no morale left to speak of. But I knew that Barrian still had one final trump card he had yet to play. No one knew why he had waited until nearly all his own people were dead before revealing those hidden cards, but I guessed this battle was the limit of what he could endure. If he did not expose those Royal Fleet warships from the Old Empire now, he would never get another chance.

Countless enormous dark shadows abruptly appeared above our original targets. The disorderly Merrowa warships trembled beneath those shadows as if they were unstable video images. For an instant, I thought the ships were phantoms, and that those phantoms were now dissipating. But the Shipboard Mainframe quickly determined that the ships did indeed exist; they were simply losing their anchor in the material world under the influence of some outside force. The things Barrian had summoned had destroyed those ships!
Within seconds, the enormous dark shadows
