I looked at the dark, profound space around me, my mind filled with piles upon piles of questions.
This was indeed inside the Abyss Gate, and the oldest Abyss Gate at that. The faint yet unpleasant feeling in the surroundings also proved that I had not come to the wrong place. Yet this place was different from the Abyss Gate I remembered jumping into: in my memory, the inside of an Abyss Gate had been a chaotic space somewhere between perceptible and imperceptible, with all information in an undefined state. Since everything seen with the naked eye was "incomprehensible" information, the surroundings had felt utterly dark. Inside an Abyss Gate, the only "scenery" one could see was the occasional chaotic "cloud" surging out of that deep darkness. I observed my surroundings and saw neither the chaotic "clouds" common inside Abyss Gates nor any other strange things. Most incredible of all, the space here was highly stable, and its coordinates could be perceived. That meant I was merely inside a normal cavity without light! This did not resemble an Abyss environment at all!
Oh, right, there was still one difference between this place and normal space: a faint Abyss Reaction permeated the surroundings. If any ordinary person came
