Before us stood a large house, a very, very large house. I had no idea whether land was equally precious on this unknown planet in this unknown universe, but judging by the architectural styles and density of the surrounding buildings, this big house was clearly a very unconventional sight.
Tall clustered buildings surrounded it, and we had seen residential districts resembling densely packed housing developments along the way. This city was by no means sparsely populated, and everything pointed to this being a place where land was far from abundant. The street before us did not look like the sort of place where villas would be built either, yet at its end... there stood a three-story house utterly out of place with its surroundings. Not only was the house huge, it had a sizable yard, and there was even a fountain built inside it.
"Monarch Brother, it reminds me of home," Alaya said, floating in midair and lazily fluttering her wings. She did not actually need them to fly and was currently hovering entirely through antigravity. "This house seems a little like ours!"
"Mm," I answered casually, then carefully studied the large house again. "Only a little. There are still plenty of differences. Besides, we might be overthinking this."
