Between these structures stood all kinds of defensive towers and surveillance posts, enough to cover the entire valley twice over. In particular, the two Psionic Storm Obelisks at the valley entrance possessed the terrifying power to instantly destroy a small town. If these outrageously powerful defensive weapons were not so enormous, they could practically be used as strategic offensive weapons.
