If you ignored the discordant feeling around us, this really was a breathtakingly beautiful place.
We were currently in a Crystal Jungle that seemed to lie in an underground space. The "Crystal Jungle" was not merely a figurative description—it meant that crystalline flowers, grass, and trees truly grew everywhere. As far as the eye could see, there were lush, sturdy ancient trees reaching toward the sky, dense clusters of low shrubs, and even white, translucent blades of grass and wildflowers. These dazzling "plants" resembled an ordinary flourishing forest in form, but every one of them was made of white, translucent crystal. The entire Crystal Jungle shone with a crystalline pale white glow. Even the ground beneath our feet was covered in fine sand that felt like soil but had the texture of crystal. After looking around for only a short while, my eyes were already starting to blur. It was as though the entire world had become an ice sculpture, carrying a strange beauty so stunning it was almost soul-stirring.
Yet amid such a beautiful environment, the air was filled with omnipresent hostility and pressure. This unpleasant feeling was somewhat familiar, but before Father God explained it, I did not dare jump to conclusions—after all, that guess was a little too horrifying.

I looked around but could not find the source of that oppressive sensation. It was as if hostility filled every direction, leaving no origin to be found. Numerous god-race sentries stood guard or patrolled through the Crystal Jungle, making it obvious that we were walking through a heavily guarded place. And as we continued forward, that unpleasant sense of oppression grew stronger and stronger.
