If the Void Cataclysm was inevitably going to occur, did the Fallen Apostles know about it?
If the Fallen Apostles knew that the Void Cataclysm was about to descend, would they take action because of it?
These were two questions for which there was still no evidence whatsoever, but the intelligence we had faintly pointed in one direction: the Fallen Apostles had probably already detected the changes in the void, and their actions might be related to them.
According to Father God's theory, if the Void Cataclysm occurred, the Fallen Apostles themselves might mostly survive it, but all their worlds would vanish in an instant. They would then be completely exposed to the sight of the God Race and the Empire, while every source of basic power would be cut off. It could practically be called extinction. If they knew all this was about to happen, they would definitely take action.
Qian Qian's analogy was quite fitting. No one had made that connection before: the entire Void Cataclysm really was like a full-system antivirus scan. The void itself ran the program, while Void Creatures, in another sense, were equivalent to the void's administrators. Worlds connected to this administrator group effectively had legitimate identities in the registry. Whether they were programs directly installed by the administrators or shortcuts installed by the programs themselves, they could all be regarded as normal information. The Fallen Apostles' own worlds, however, had never been confirmed or authorized by the administrators, and could be viewed as data secretly altered by backdoor software—no matter how unreasonable that sounded, if Qian Qian's guess was correct, then any world not authorized by Void Creatures was illegal to the void.
Thus, when the Cataclysm came, everything without corresponding information in the registry was deleted.
