For the remainder of the school year, Wes immersed himself in Nicolas Flamel's Alchemy notes, unable to pull himself away.

If Wes had acquired a panel that displayed proficiency gains, then perhaps conspicuous notifications like these would have popped up above his head one after another:

"Alchemy +1"

"Alchemy +1"

"Alchemy +10086"

Soon, the nerve-racking final exams approached, and without exception, both students and professors became busy.

Even Wes, who was usually relatively lenient with his students, assigned homework after every class. Naturally, this drew quite a few complaints and grievances from the students.

However, Wes showed no mercy because of it. After all, his evaluation at the school was closely tied to the students' grades, leaving no room for carelessness.

He had only read a tiny fraction of the vast collection of books in the library. He had no intention of being expelled from the school just because he had been too lenient with his students.

As for things like the original plot, Wes had long since tossed them completely out of his mind.

At last, finals arrived.

What greatly pleased Wes was that none of the Rune Class students received dreadful grades like P (Poor) or D (Dreadful).

Several outstanding students had even earned the excellent grade of O (Outstanding).

The result surprised Wes somewhat. He had assumed that this ancient and somewhat difficult elective course would not receive much attention or commitment from the students.

Now, it seemed that the students had taken the course quite seriously and put in enough effort.

As the students left the school one after another, happily returning home to enjoy their summer break, the professors also gradually departed.

Hogwarts, once bustling and filled with Magical Aura, slowly shed its clamor.

And Wes was about to embark on a brand-new adventure filled with unknown challenges.

All because new words had quietly appeared in the panel world's listing—"#@Alchemy%¥".

"What a coincidence? Or is it because of the Philosopher's Stone?" Wes muttered, and then his figure vanished from where he stood.

(Tens of thousands of words omitted here. Please use your imagination, big shots.)

In New York of the Marvel World, inside the Hogwarts Potion Shop.

With undisguised delight written all over his face, Wes appeared out of thin air without warning.

"A bumper harvest, a bumper harvest!" Wes eagerly began taking stock of the abundant gains from this trip.

Countless pieces of gold were piled up like mountains.

A large number of precious Philosopher's Stones gleamed with alluring yet ominous red light.

There were also all sorts of notebooks recording alchemy.

"I never expected to witness a 'homunculus' merging with 'Truth.'"

Wes still felt lingering fear.

"I nearly got devoured by 'Truth' back then."

The alchemy of the "#@Alchemy%¥" world differed enormously and significantly from the alchemy of the Harry Potter World. Those differences gave Wes tremendous inspiration and insight, allowing him to make entirely new breakthroughs and advancements in his understanding of alchemy.

Wes carefully inventoried his several Laboratories and warehouses.

"These potions are useless to me now. Sell them all."

Looking at the small mountain of gold bars before him, he could not help sighing with emotion. "From now on, I can count myself as a wealthy man too."

Only after waiting until the early hours of the morning did Wes skillfully lift the Muggle Repelling Charm and the Confundus Charm.

The Hogwarts Potion Shop reopened for business.

Before long, well-informed New York elites caught wind of it and hurried to the shop one after another.

After all, an entire year had passed, and the potions those elites had bought before had long been completely used up.

Thus, the auction atmosphere was especially intense, and Wes's stock of potions was cleared out at an astonishing speed.

Two hours later, the auction ended successfully, and everyone left satisfied.

Only Tony Stark remained behind.

Holding a bottle of red wine, he strolled calmly over to Wes.

"Care for a drink?" His tone was casual and uninhibited.

Wes did not answer immediately. He only stared at him coldly.

"Mr. or Ms. Magus, don't look at me so coldly."

Tony Stark did not mind Wes's reaction.

"Tony Stark, you broke the rules." Wes's voice was low and stern.

"So what? Are you going to kill me? Be my guest."

Tony Stark waved his hand nonchalantly, his face full of indifference.

Then he looked around and said, "Where are the glasses? Or do you want to drink straight from the bottle?"

Wes was full of confusion. What the hell was wrong with Tony Stark today?

With a light flick of his hands, two exquisite glasses instantly appeared in them.

"Wow," Tony Stark exclaimed theatrically. "Such amazing magic."

The glasses were soon filled with fragrant wine.

"This bottle cost me a full three million dollars."

After saying that, Tony Stark downed the red wine in his glass without hesitation.

He was not savoring the wine at all. It was more like he was wantonly venting some emotion buried in his heart.

After three full glasses in a row, an obvious flush began to appear on Tony Stark's cheeks.

"You know, I'm about to die." As he spoke, Tony Stark took off his jacket and pointed to the device in his chest. "This thing used to be my lifeline, but now it's about to become the deadly weapon that kills me. What absurd irony."

So the plot had already reached this point.

"A superhero can't even save his own life. That's truly ironic."

Tony Stark opened up and rambled on about all sorts of things.

In the end, he let out a long breath, releasing all the pent-up frustration in his heart.

"This feels amazing. I actually told all these secrets buried in my heart to a stranger like you. I don't even know your name, or whether you're a man or a woman. Still, thank you for being willing to listen to my nonsense."

At that moment, Tony Stark seemed like he had finally put down a crushing burden he had carried for far too long. His whole body looked much more relaxed, and his eyes gradually cleared.

"You're about to die?" Wes asked.

"That's right." Tony Stark shrugged.

Wes took out a vial of potion and tossed it to Tony Stark.

"What's this?" Tony Stark caught the potion and asked curiously.

"An experimental product." Wes's tone was calm, and he was not lying. "It's a newly developed potion of mine. It contains a great deal of vitality, but its side effects are still unclear."

In truth, Wes had carefully made the potion by mixing the Philosopher's Stone with antidotes and restorative potions. He had simply been unable to find a suitable test subject.

And as one of the most important protagonists in the Marvel World, Tony Stark would never die easily before completing his mission.

To Wes, he was simply the perfect test subject.

"I have Palladium Poisoning, understand? An extremely dangerous radioactive substance. Forget it, whatever. I'll give it a try."

After saying that, Tony Stark waved goodbye to Wes. "Anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble on for so long. If I somehow survive, I'll definitely give you some post-sale feedback."

After Wes closed the shop door, he turned around and was startled to find a bald woman in magnificent golden robes sitting quietly in a chair.

Wes was startled at first, but quickly calmed down.

He removed his mask and respectfully gave the woman a standard mage's salute. "Greetings, Sorcerer Supreme."

Ancient One smiled softly in reply. "Hello, Wizard Erwin."
