Background

Origin

The Law System was created to construct the Pale Great Law, an artificial Heavenly Dao intended to bind, contain, and refine extraordinary powers. Law practitioners restrain themselves through personal doctrines, use Law to restrain other powers, and ultimately return their accumulated assets, power, and souls to the Pale Great Law after death. 25 31

Anti-Law emerged when powerful users of Law sought to keep that accumulated power for themselves. It reverses Law's operating principle by replacing the Pale Great Law with an individual dominator, who establishes private laws to restrain contract holders and receive their eventual returns. 31

Despite its independence, Anti-Law still borrows the Law System's rules. The birth of an Anti-Law system strengthens the Pale Great Law, while an Anti-Law system whose dominator completely falls is automatically absorbed and refined by the Pale Great Law. 31 97

Role in Gods' Space

Gods' Space is a loose alliance centered on Anti-Law Demon Gods. Many powerful gods and demons secretly cultivate Anti-Law as an alter ego, backup plan, or independent side business; more than half of its Anti-Law gods and demons are described as anonymous alter egos of major figures. 97 145

Mao Mao King openly operates Anti-Law: Luxury Children's Clothing alongside her Industrial God identity, using Anti-Law as a second path of expansion rather than as a hidden alter ego. 97

Mechanics

Reverse Law Principle

Anti-Law uses the legal framework created by the Law System but directs its benefits toward a private dominator rather than the Pale Great Law. It is therefore described as both the opposite of Law and still fundamentally a form of law. 31

  • An Anti-Law Dominator creates private rules and lends extraordinary power to selected users. 31
  • Contract holders can develop through borrowed power, while their accumulated returns are owed to the dominator. 31 70
  • Anti-Law may operate alongside other extraordinary systems, including an Industrial God system or a Pollution Source held indirectly through contracts. 97

Anti-Law Contracts

An Anti-Law Contract is a private counterpart to a Law System contract. A Law contract is enforced through the Pale Great Law, while an Anti-Law Contract functions more like private family law and prioritizes the dominator's interests. 233

  • The contracting party must genuinely understand the contract's contents and give subjective consent; hidden terms are not permitted. 228
  • Coercion, manipulation, or unequal circumstances do not invalidate a contract if the signer understands and accepts its terms. 228
  • Contracts can grant users access to extraordinary power without requiring them to make that power their core system. 233 272
  • A contract can establish a faint mental connection between dominator and user, allowing Yuan Zhu to perceive mental fluctuations from Nie Yin. 233 234
  • Contract terms can be upgraded through further negotiation, supplementary agreements, or the addition of higher-value Pollution Crystals. 228

Capital Pool and Investment

Anti-Law treats extraordinary power as capital. A dominator lends, leases, gifts, or invests that capital into users, then receives appreciation and contractual returns. 70 228

  • The capital pool remains wholly controlled by the Anti-Law Demon God. 70
  • A dominator cannot directly absorb the capital pool's power to strengthen themself or convert it directly into personal combat power. 70 228
  • The dominator can assign users the right to wield the controlled power, allowing contracted subordinates to act as indirect extensions of the system. 228
  • Investments can create debt or “gratitude loans,” making subsequent upgrades and gains by a user part of the Anti-Law's appreciation. 221 269
  • Failed investments can be cut off or sold to another party, though failed users and dead assets remain a financial risk. 97 228

Concealment and Ascension Control

Anti-Law exists externally to its dominator rather than as power directly accumulated within their body. This grants it considerable concealment. 236 262

  • An Anti-Law Dominator is difficult to identify unless they expose their own connection to the system. 236
  • The dominator does not inherently produce a high-energy reaction from the capital pool and is less exposed to Ascension pressure. 262
  • Excess pollution that risks pushing a system toward Ascension can be transferred into Anti-Law for storage. 262

Limitations and Risks

  • Anti-Law is a “big fish eat small fish” system: a new dominator is surrounded by stronger Anti-Law gods and demons. 145
  • Contract control is not absolute against capable or deceptive users; Yuan Zhu receives warnings that skilled targets may exploit loopholes and turn an attempted trap against the dominator. 241
  • An Anti-Law system that loses completely is reclaimed by the Pale Great Law, despite its private and independent operation. 31 97

Anti-Law: Shadow

Yuan Zhu develops Anti-Law: Shadow by using the Tiger Demon's Shadow Pollution as capital. His objective is to distribute Shadow Power to users, cultivate specialized subordinates, and draw their power, research, assets, and loyalty into a private Anti-Law structure. 70 228 301

Group Leader / Core Users Project
Group A Five mixed-blood orcs Shadowization of the Way of Strength and the cultivation of transformed fighters. 269 281
Group B Nie Yin Shadowized Frog-series potion research and related taboo experimentation. 269 281
Group C Xiao Tang Anti-Law-sponsored insect-series pill refining. 269 281
Group D A Tiao Anti-Law-sponsored insect-series armor casting and Knight-system armor development. 269 281

Shadow Uniforms

Yuan Zhu dyes Blank Uniforms with Anti-Law Shadow Power, adds them to the capital pool, and grants them to contracted users as investments. 269

  • The uniforms carry a Shadow label and serve as external containers for Shadow Power. 269
  • Any upgrades, modifications, or power acquired through a contracted user's uniform are counted as Anti-Law investment appreciation. 269
  • The uniforms permit users to rely less on their original systems and access Shadow Power as an external plug-in. 261 269
  • Nie Yin uses the Shadow Uniform as the foundation for her own planned upgrades and research. 273

Relationships

  • Pale Great Law — Anti-Law's foundational counterpart. Anti-Law reverses Law's rules for private ownership, but ultimately reinforces the Pale Great Law and is reclaimed by it upon complete failure. 31 97
  • Law System — The source framework that Anti-Law imitates and reverses; Law can bind any Pollution Source in theory, while an individual Anti-Law generally focuses on a single source. 25 228
  • Yuan Zhu / Tiger Demon — Dominator of Anti-Law: Shadow, which uses Shadow Pollution for contracts, investments, and delegated power. 70 228
  • Nie Yin — Group B leader and Yuan Zhu's contracted research assistant. Her contract provides Shadow Power without corrosion or distortion while binding research, secrecy, and patent interests to Anti-Law. 233 269
  • Five mixed-blood orcs — Group A's first client cohort; they receive Shadow Pollution investment and are developed as transformed fighters. 227 228 269
  • Xiao Tang and A Tiao — Leaders of Groups C and D. Both receive Shadow Uniforms and authority to operate their own Anti-Law client groups. 269 281
  • White StagYuan Zhu's ninth Anti-Law user and mount after gaining human-level intelligence and accepting a contract. 281

Story Role / Major Arcs

  • The captain explains Anti-Law to Yuan Zhu as a private reversal of the Law System, prompting Yuan Zhu and the Little Elf to view it as a route for operating a personal demon-god business. 31
  • Yuan Zhu later identifies Anti-Law as a means to have the Tiger Demon lend Shadow Pollution back to him and others while protecting that power from the Great Wilderness Immortal Scripture's possible reclamation. 70
  • After obtaining the ability to concurrently cultivate Anti-Law, Yuan Zhu begins developing Anti-Law: Shadow through contracts with purchased orcs and subsequent Shadow investment. 141 227 228
  • Yuan Zhu signs Nie Yin as an assistant and researcher, making her the first leader within his expanding contract structure. 233 269
  • The system evolves from a single group of fighters into four specialized project groups focused on strength modification, Frog-school research, pill refining, and armor casting. 269 281
  • Yuan Zhu further applies Anti-Law to land development, Shadow Uniforms, transformed goblins, Holy Knight Goblins, and the White Stag mount. 303 306 318 323

Notable Quotes

“Because the core of this system is to borrow the rules of the Law System and reverse the use of its power... it is called Anti-Law. But Anti-Law is still law!” 31

“The Anti-Law Demon Gods are like banks. They are proficient in lending and appreciation.” 70
