Chapter Summaries

The God Realm's War Horn sounded as Li Xun fought the God Kings at Space Plaza, and the gods in the Council Hall debated whether to join the battle. The Sea God, God of Emotion, God of Darkness, and other gods stayed behind and watched Li Xun gain the upper hand against Asura God and the gathered gods.

• The Sea God told God of Emotion he would avoid the battle because he was about to pass on his Divine Position, and God of Darkness joined them in the Council Hall.
• Sword God, Phoenix God, and God of Speed joined the Sea God's group, which grew to include twenty to thirty gods who chose to stay behind.
• God of Darkness threatened God of Nightmare when he challenged the group, and several gods who had planned to leave for Space Plaza changed their minds and sat with the Sea God.
• God of Darkness showed the battle at Space Plaza on a gray light curtain, and the Sea God replaced it with a clearer water-blue screen.
• The gods watched Li Xun's Thousand Hands Great Buddhas overwhelm their opponents as Asura God struggled to fight without his divine weapon.

Li Xun and his Doppelgangers overwhelmed the God Realm’s forces, while infighting and panic shattered the defenders’ encirclement. Goddess of Life tried to sacrifice herself to save Destruction, but a deep-blue sword light interrupted her at the last moment.

• Li Xun and his Doppelgangers attacked the encircling gods, while Asura God tried to hold him off and Goddess of Life worked to restore Destruction and God of Evil.
• God of Nightmare accused Sea God and God of Darkness of refusing to answer the war horn, provoking anger and confusion among the assembled gods.
• The frightened defenders broke ranks and fled as Li Xun’s Great Buddhas continued their assault, leaving the plaza nearly empty.
• Li Xun pursued Goddess of Life and Destruction while his Doppelgangers intercepted Asura God and God of Kindness.

Li Xun killed the Goddess of Life, the God of Destruction, the God of Evil, and the God of Kindness before battling the Asura God. Asura God unleashed a devastating final attack that destroyed half the God Realm, and the Golden Dragon King emerged from the ruined forbidden land.

• Li Xun killed the Goddess of Life and the God of Destruction, then burned their bodies away with fire elements.
• The God of Evil and the God of Kindness tried to escape, but Li Xun stopped them and killed them both.
• Li Xun fought the Asura God, who released a massive attack that pierced through the God Realm and left Li Xun badly wounded.
• Asura God gathered his power into a final attack, and the Sea God, God of Darkness, and the other gods raised barriers to protect themselves.
• Asura God's attack erased half the God Realm, but the surviving gods held their barriers until the red light faded.

After surviving the God Realm’s destruction, Li Xun returned to Douluo Continent and chose to build its future rather than remain in the damaged realm. Ten years later, the continent had flourished, and Li Xun came home to his family as they settled into their long lives as gods.

• The Golden Dragon King escaped its prison while Sea God and the other surviving gods declined to take responsibility for repairing the ruined God Realm.
• Li Xun regenerated from his injuries, confronted scouts sent to check whether he was dead, and met Sea God, God of Darkness, and God of Emotion in the Council Hall.
• Li Xun freed Rakshasa God from her seal and made her serve him for a thousand years to settle their grievances.
• On Douluo Continent, Li Xun captured the escaped Golden Dragon King, and Gu Yuena and the others welcomed the birth of Li Xun’s daughter.
• Li Xun returned from the God Realm with Rakshasa God, and over the next ten years Douluo developed into a prosperous Divine Kingdom with new paths toward godhood.
• Li Xun came home with Bo Saixi, the Golden Dragon King, and his daughter, who asked to visit the Undead Plane and Dragon Valley.
