The square space was filled with blue light like flowing water, slowly streaming from both sides toward the center. It was wide and bright enough to accommodate a hundred people standing shoulder to shoulder.
Thick stone walls on either side were covered in vine-like green plants, crossing and tangling together into a net. They gave off a faint fragrance that left the mind refreshed upon smelling it.
Directly before the six stood an enormous crystal door set into the thick walls on both sides. It looked naturally formed, luminous and translucent, reflecting the scene within and leaving them dazed for an instant. Then all six widened their eyes and looked closer.
Upon a white crystalline sandy floor, like sea salt, stood two enormous black statues. They had serpent heads and human bodies, solemn and majestic without seeming evil, like guardian deities from some myth.
Between the statues lay four marble-like platforms. Hot spring water bubbled forth from them, clear and bright, like the purest divine water in the world, free of the slightest impurity.
"This is the Spring of Life? Such a thing really exists?"
Kuang Du rubbed his forehead and grinned in astonishment. Even through the crystal door, he could still sense the abundant spiritual energy contained in that spring water. Every drop held unimaginable power.
