This was Chinjao's first book in the truest sense. The writing was very immature. When Chinjao first started writing, it was purely because he disliked Tang San and wanted to torment him, so he wrote Tang San as an idiot. As a result, the golden opening three chapters turned into three toxic chapters.

Then there was the protagonist's name, Zu Zong—"ancestor"—which was also chosen to disgust Tang San. Looking back now, it did not disgust Tang San much, but instead disgusted countless readers into leaving. It really should not have been done.

In truth, this book should have ended when the Douluo arc ended, because there were barely any results by then.
