As the Explosive Tags detonated, flames suddenly erupted in the distance. After several brief screams were drowned out, Uchiha Shisui charged headfirst into the battlefield, facing more than twenty Cloud Hidden Village shinobi.
His Body Flicker Technique was so terrifying that it could even leave afterimages, making it seem as though multiple versions of him appeared on the retina. Yet with his Three Tomoe Sharingan, he adapted perfectly to the rhythm of high-speed combat. Once he unleashed his full power, he was like a tiger among sheep. Ordinary shinobi could hardly contend with him. Caught off guard, some had their throats slit in a single strike.
The afterimages in the air resembled some bizarre Clone Technique. No one could tell which one was Shisui's real body, yet whenever one of those phantoms raised its blade, a head would fall the next moment. It was utterly terrifying.
"Ninja Art: Mind Disorder Performance Technique!"
Lu roared and formed hand seals where he stood, veins bulging across his forehead. Several Cloud Hidden Village shinobi at the front felt their minds go blank, and the next moment, they trembled as they raised their blades at their own comrades. Uchiha Shisui became a streak of lightning, several sword-wielding figures seemingly appearing in midair. Blades flashed, and heads fell.
"Multi Explosive Shuriken!" Daisy roared as well. The shuriken in her hands turned into layers upon layers of phantoms, with the Explosive Tags hanging from their tails making for a chilling sight.
Not all the explosive tags attached to her Multi Shuriken were real. Some belonged to Shadow Clone shuriken that could only cause damage when thrown, but the enemy had no way to distinguish real from fake and could only scramble to evade.
Explosions rang out without end, and smoke filled the air.
