Gu Han revealed that the Seven Absolutes Sun Severing Flower he gave Bibi Dong would harm Yu Xiaogang if she passed it to him, and a blast from Pope's Palace suggested Yu Xiaogang had suffered its effects. After Hu Liena told Gu Han about Bibi Dong's interrogation of Xie Yue and Lao Yan, she resolved to reject Bibi Dong as her teacher; Gu Han then explained the flower and his intentions to Qian Daoliu.

• Bibi Dong found Yu Xiaogang unconscious and blamed Gu Han for the flower's harmful effects on him.
• Gu Han heard an explosion from Pope's Palace and believed Yu Xiaogang had taken the Seven Absolutes Sun Severing Flower and suffered its fiery effects.

After surviving a day and night of pursuit, Gu Han and the exhausted Holy Light Angel Enforcement Team faced the Spirit Hall Master and his two Soul Saint vice hall masters. The enemies revealed Bibi Dong’s plot against Gu Han, but he answered their show of strength by summoning his enormous Sacred Dragon Martial Soul.
