Chapter Summaries

Roman became the Herrscher of a Thousand without being swayed by Prometheus 17, then returned to St. Freya High and reassured the others that he retained his humanity. The group’s revelations about the Special Material led Xiao Shi to call Roman her father and propose that he and Fu Hua become a family, while Schwi was revealed to have infiltrated the Cocoon of Finality.

• Roman completed his transformation into the Herrscher of a Thousand, resisted Prometheus 17’s influence, and briefly saw the Cocoon of Finality and the Imaginary Tree before their connection ended.
• Roman awoke at St. Freya High and told Fu Hua, Theresa, Himeko, Kiana, and the others that he had not lost himself to the Honkai.
• Theresa’s question about the Special Material made Himeko and the Herrschers realize Roman had helped stabilize them, prompting Seele, Wendy, and Raiden Mei to reflect on their feelings for him.
• Xiao Shi called Roman her father and urged him to pursue Fu Hua; after Roman offered to give Xiao Shi a family, Fu Hua agreed to raise her with him once the Great Honkai Eruption threat had passed.
• On the moon, Prometheus 17 discovered that Schwi had followed her there and infiltrated the Cocoon of Finality, interfering with its order and timing for Herrschers’ appearances.

Schwi altered the Herrscher emergence sequence and became the Herrscher of Corruption, resisting the Cocoon of Finality and the Imaginary Tree’s attempts to control her. Kevin detected the unexpected eruption and arrived at St. Freya High, where he sensed several Herrscher auras.

• Schwi used the Star Cup’s power to bring the Herrscher of Corruption forth ahead of the expected Herrscher of Binding.
• Schwi explained that Prometheus 17 had helped lock in the Herrscher sequence, and that she had changed it through her authority as the One True God.
• Schwi endured the Corruption core’s formation without being affected by the Cocoon and the Tree, then announced through everyone’s phones that she had become the Herrscher of Corruption.
• Raven reported that the eruption at St. Freya High resembled Corruption rather than Binding, and Kevin ordered her to fly there.
• Kevin arrived above St. Freya High, sensed multiple Herrscher auras, and leaped from the aircraft toward the school.

Kevin learned that Binding had been postponed until after Corruption and that Theresa could become its Herrscher Vessel, while Elysia and Kiana planned to use the Herrschers to help Kiana reach Finality. Otto rushed to St. Freya to stop Theresa, but arrived after Durandal and Rita had been defeated and Theresa had begun to transform, so he called on Kevin to intervene.

• Kevin confronted Schwi and the others at St. Freya, learned that Corruption was the eleventh eruption and Binding had been postponed to the twelfth, and heard Elysia describe her parallel world.
• Kevin rejected Elysia's opposition to the Stigmata Project, while Elysia proposed making Theresa the Vessel for Binding so the Herrschers could help Kiana ascend to Finality.
• Kevin decided not to stop the plan himself when Durandal and Rita arrived, and he sent Otto the intelligence he had gathered.
• Otto abandoned his research into parallel worlds and ordered Durandal and Rita to stop Theresa, then traveled to St. Freya to seek Roman's Herrscher of a Thousand authority.
• Otto arrived to find Durandal and Rita defeated by Schwi and Theresa beginning to transform, then urgently called on Kevin to help stop her.

Kiana gathered the Herrschers’ Authorities and prepared to travel to the Cocoon of Finality on the moon, with Roman and the others supporting her ascension. The train left Welt Yang behind with Otto, whom Welt began beating, while Raven watched and recorded.

• Kevin’s attack with Judgment of Shamash was absorbed by Roman, and Schwi immobilized Otto and took Void Archives.
• Theresa became the Herrscher of Binding, and Roman calmed her; she then gave Kiana part of her Authority.
• Kiana summoned Welt Yang, took the Authority of Reason, and gave its Core to Bronya, who became the Herrscher of Reason with Roman’s help.
• After gathering the remaining Authorities, Kiana declared she was ready to reach the Cocoon of Finality, and she, Kevin, and the others boarded Thousand Realms Cycle for the moon.

Kiana reached the Cocoon of Finality and became the Herrscher of Finality with support from the other Herrschers, gaining control over Honkai and the power to cycle time. She ended the need for Kevin’s Stigmata Project, while the news of her ascension spread around the world.

• The Cocoon of Finality appeared on the far side of the moon, and Kiana told Kevin it was welcoming her rather than testing her.

• Welt Yang beat Otto while Otto despaired that Kiana had become the Herrscher of the End, and Kevin told Siegfried that Kiana had saved the world with Roman.
• Mobius learned of Kiana’s ascension, and Elysia arrived, read the news, and decided to tell the others and hold a Flame-Chaser banquet.
• St. Freya celebrated Kiana’s victory, but the morning after the party Seele, Theresa, and Rita could not find Bronya, Himeko, or Durandal; Kiana later realized what had happened during the drunken night and punched Roman.
• Kiana returned from the moon and spent several days sharing and strengthening the Herrscher of the End’s power with Roman, Schwi, and Elysia before declining Kevin’s invitation to the Elysian Realm for the time being.

Roman welcomed Chihaya Anon, Madoka, and Hiiragi Utena to Chaos Hall, where Soul Synchronization gave them immense power and plans for their worlds. After they discussed their next steps, Herta 0988 invited Roman and Kiana to Feast Star: Penacony to meet Acheron and Firefly, and they agreed to go.

• Echidna introduced Roman, Elysia, Schwi, and Kiana to Chihaya Anon, Madoka, and Hiiragi Utena, who then underwent Soul Resonance with Roman.
• Soul Synchronization gave Chihaya Anon, Madoka, and Hiiragi Utena powers from Roman, prompting them to plan new goals in their respective worlds.

Kiana and Roman met Finality Kiana through an Imaginary Passage and introduced her to Navigator Himeko aboard the Astral Express. After learning about parallel worlds and the Aeons, Finality Kiana shared what she had discovered with Mei, Bronya, and Theresa, leaving them stunned by the wider universe.

• Kiana opened an Imaginary Passage to another world’s Moon and contacted Finality Kiana, who was shocked to see another Herrscher of the End and Roman.
• Kiana explained that Roman was her husband and the Herrscher of a Thousand, and that he had helped stabilize Herrschers and protect her world from Great Honkai Eruptions.

Kiana and Roman joined the Astral Express, and Welt Yang realized Kiana came from a different Earth and might help him find his way home. The crew arrived at Penacony, where the hotel could not find reservations for several passengers, and Black Tower offered to handle the problem.

• Black Tower introduced Roman and Kiana Kaslana as new passengers, and Welt Yang recognized Kiana as a Herrscher of the End from another world.
• Kiana told Welt that she had become the Herrscher of the End only yesterday and confirmed that another Finality Kiana lived on the Moon.
• Kiana said the Astral Express would soon travel to the Solar System, giving Welt hope that he could find his home Earth.
• The crew set off for Penacony and checked into The Reverie Hotel, where the receptionist could not find reservations for Stelle, Black Tower, Roman, or Kiana.
• Black Tower assured the crew that she would take care of the missing reservations.

Herta 0988 used her reputation to secure rooms for the group at The Reverie Hotel, where the arriving guests also encountered Robin and Acheron. When Himeko sent Welt Yang a photo of Acheron, he mistook her for Raiden Mei and rushed to the lobby, wondering whether Honkai had followed him across worlds.

• Herta 0988 guaranteed rooms for her companions, and Sunday ordered the hotel staff to register them.
• March 7th took a photo with Robin, while Herta asked the singer for guitar lessons on behalf of Chihaya Anon.
• Kiana recognized Acheron as someone who looked like Raiden Mei, and Himeko photographed Acheron and sent the picture to Welt Yang.

After explaining Izumo’s destruction to Welt and the others, Acheron accepted Black Swan’s invitation to dance as Robin and Black Tower played.

• Acheron recovered memories of Izumo, the Edict Blades, her friendship with the White-Haired Oni, and how IX left her as the final survivor.
• Kiana introduced herself to Acheron, who recognized similarities between Kiana and the White-Haired Oni but learned Kiana came from Earth.

• Black Swan recognized Kiana as her rescuer, learned that Roman had also witnessed her ordeal, and received Fuli’s mission to obtain Roman’s memories as a Light Cone.

Roman then began waking the Astral Express crew, including Welt Yang, whose dream ended with a new Honkai eruption and Otto destroying Anti-Entropy.

• Roman killed the insect swarm in Firefly's dream, prompting Firefly to realize Glamoth and its Knights were long gone and that she was the Empress's successor.
• Firefly woke, asked Roman to cure her Entropy Loss Syndrome, and Roman used the Star Cup to heal her; Kiana, Stelle, Black Tower, Robin, and Black Swan also awakened.

• The Nameless chose to leave their dreams, and Kiana used the power of Sentience to keep them awake as they confronted Sunday and argued that people should choose between dreams and reality.
• Kiana broadcast Sunday and Robin’s conversation throughout Penacony, and Robin sang to awaken the dreamers and stir their resistance.
