The Dark Warrior had realized that Loki had probably set him up this time. Of course, perhaps even Loki himself had not known there would be protective forces of this level here.

Though that possibility was unlikely.

What the Dark Warrior still could not make sense of was this: if their technological capabilities were so advanced, why had they not added a layer of defenses to their territory? They had let them destroy nearly everything, only to suddenly throw out these creations?

What puzzled him even more was when Midgard, the weakest of the Nine Realms, had developed its technology to such a degree. How had they grown under Asgard's very nose? And how could Odin have allowed them to rise?

However, the Dark Warrior had no time to think further. The pressure brought by the Two Colossi of Light and Darkness left him temporarily unable to focus on anything else.

After consuming the Aether Energy within his body to activate the Darkness Armor, the Dark Warrior's strength had been amplified to a terrifying level. But even more terrifyingly, the two Colossi opposite him had actually kept up with that increase in strength!

Even the Dark Warrior's formidable mental fortitude was shaken.

Not even Odin would necessarily dare to take the full-force assault of Aether Energy and Darkness Armor head-on, yet the Colossus of Light before him had endured three of his bursts in succession and still appeared completely unharmed.

The Dark Warrior could sense that the other side was using some unknown mechanism to weaken and absorb his attacks through that Energy Barrier, but this mechanism differed from Asgard's magic and the energy systems of the other realms. His rich combat experience was useless against a completely unfamiliar power. He could only spend time probing for its flaws bit
