A shadow fell over everyone's hearts, as though something terrifying would happen the very next moment. The creatures on the planet seemed to sense it too, fleeing their territories in frantic, aimless panic.

Just as everyone was gripped by fear, the planet suddenly stopped for an instant.

In that instant, countless creatures were flung off the ground by the inertia of the planet's rotation, helplessly hurled high into the sky. Some unfortunate souls near the equator were even launched straight out of the atmosphere at supersonic speeds.

Trees snapped, and shattered rocks sprayed into the air. Everything seemed to have springs installed beneath it, all of it thrown skyward. For a time, the skies above the entire planet were packed full of dense, bizarre debris.

In merely an instant, the planet resumed its rotation. Countless creatures flung into the sky were helplessly dragged back toward the ground, crashing down like rain with a series of crackles. Countless died or were injured, and many frail-bodied creatures were smashed directly into bloody paste. Others collided with nearby rocks and trees during their fall, left barely clinging to life.

Creatures capable of flight were no safer in this wave of destruction. They too were helplessly flung through the air the entire time. Even those fortunate enough not to be thrown out of the atmosphere often failed to control themselves in time, struck by objects shooting into the sky one after another before crashing messily to the ground.

An unprecedented super hurricane formed in an instant, howling as it swept up everything in its path.

The continental plates gave off terrifying rumbles. Volcanoes began erupting one after another, while avalanches ravaged the icy mountains and snowfields of the poles.
