Nick's old acquaintance, General Ross, read from a script on the stage. Below him stood Nick Fury, his expression calm. Scattered throughout the tiered semicircular chamber sat one important figure after another.

Without a doubt, this was an emergency hearing that Nick had never expected.

"Sorry, but which piece of critical information do you mean when you say I concealed it?" Nick raised his hand and asked calmly.

"Apparently, you still haven't realized the seriousness of the matter." General Ross forced a pitying smile onto his face.

"The ones who haven't realized the seriousness of the matter are you, Ross, and everyone present." Nick swept his gaze across the room and spoke softly. Yet amplified by the sound system, his voice reached every ear in the hall.

He said seriously, "Even if you want me removed from my post, you should at least make the reason clear."

"You concealed Paradise—you people call that game Paradise. You concealed information about its extraordinary power," Ross answered.

"It was created for an extraordinary Dimensional Lord in the first place. I concealed no information on that matter," Nick retorted.

"But you never stated that this game could grant people power!" Ross accused. "At least thirty people have revealed their abilities online! We initially thought it was another marketing stunt, but after investigating and tracking them down, we discovered that those thirty people really did possess a certain degree of Supernatural Power.

"If you had explained it sooner, the Council could have kept everything internal rather than sharing it with the whole world."
