Several cylindrical metal objects rose from the ground, their bodies drawing energy from the void of space and supplying it at full force to activate the device.

Rings of light on the cylinders climbed upward in overlapping layers, then converged into multicolored beams that shot into the sky. The beams emitted by several Metal Cylinder Devices crossed and gathered in a region overhead, where the tremendous energy tore open a white hole in the dark sky.

Thanos suddenly threw back his head to look at the opened hole, a faint shadow of unease rising in his heart.

With the powerful energy supply, the edges of the white hole continued expanding. Thor and the others, having long been warned by Stark, tightly surrounded Thanos and blocked his path to destroy the Metal Cylinder Devices.

Suddenly, the beams emitted by the Metal Cylinder Devices dimmed sharply, as if they lacked power. The layered rings of light on the cylinders began flashing between bright and dark. Amid the delighted or disappointed gazes of those present, the interwoven lights finally vanished from sight.

The darkness around them spread once more. The white hole torn open in the sky by the immense energy also began shrinking rapidly after losing its power supply.

"Looks like your luck isn't very good," Thanos said slowly as he looked at the shrinking white hole and Hawkeye and the others, who radiated despair and dejection.

Yet before Thanos's words had fully fallen, the shrinking white hole in the sky, just as it was about to disappear, seemed to receive support and energy from another force. Under everyone's stunned yet ecstatic gazes, it halted its decline and began expanding outward again.

"Success."

Stark finally let out a breath of relief at the sight. His all-out gamble had succeeded in the end.
