In space, Thanos arrived in Sector 2814. The Red Lantern Corps had failed to bring him the Lantern Beast he wanted and had also lost contact. But everything was about to draw to a close. It would end here.
At least, that was how it would be when the new chapter began.
"Can you feel it? A vague sense of impending danger." Seeing the team gathered once more, Wayne spoke softly.
"Looks like I'm not the only one who feels that way." Diana replied with a grave expression. As a descendant of gods, she surpassed ordinary humans in every respect, especially perception. Yet this sense of crisis was far stronger than anything she had ever felt before.
"I've been feeling unsettled too. I sensed that something bad was about to happen, so I interrupted my training and came back." Clark added. That sudden unease had seriously disrupted his training. Thankfully, his strength had improved at an astonishing pace over the past few months, as though aided by divine intervention. It was no longer comparable to what it had once been.
"If something can make all of us feel threatened, it can only be him, right?" Hal sighed. No matter how much he had avoided thinking about that powerful figure lately, he could never truly escape him.
"Thanos? He's finally here." Aquaman Arthur, who had arrived last, let out a breath. The Sword of Damocles that had been hanging over their heads was finally about to reveal itself and fall.
"How's your girlfriend's training going? Can she control that power now?" Barry Allen, crouching in a corner, looked around before quietly asking Hal, the person he got along with best.
"She's always been able to control that power.
