"What are you talking about? There are only three of us here." Seeing Kang's strange expression, Loki frowned slightly.
"No, someone has sealed this place off. I've been cut off from the time outside." Kang looked equally bewildered. It seemed that in his life of over a thousand years, this was the first time he had encountered such a situation.
"Cut off? What do you mean?" Loki sensed something was wrong in Kang's tone and expression. He concluded that Kang was not deceiving them—or rather, the side holding the advantage had no need to lie about something like this.
"It means I've lost my perception of external time. I can no longer observe or control the Timelines of other universes. Everything is gradually spiraling out of control. If this blockade is permanent, then even if you don't kill me, the Multiversal War will arrive sooner or later." Kang's emotions only fluctuated for a moment before returning to normal.
This situation, which lay beyond his observations and expectations, made him somewhat surprised and curious. Panic? He had already been looking for a successor and preparing to face his own death. What was there to panic about?
"Isn't that a good thing?" Sylvie twirled the blade in her hand, gripping it tightly as she assumed an attacking stance.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Loki hurriedly turned around and blocked Sylvie, separating her from Kang.
"Move!" Sylvie barked at Loki, who stood in front of her.
"Everything is still unclear. There might really be some unknown person and danger involved. I think he still has some use." Loki racked his brains to persuade Sylvie.
"Kill him, and everything will end." Sylvie pressed her blade against Loki's chin, once again signaling for him to move aside.
"Not necessarily." Loki had vaguely guessed who the newcomer might
