"What's this?" Loki watched helplessly as Luke pulled the milky-white little dragon, only about the size of half-grown puppy, from the jar. He held it up by its tiny wings like a chick and raised it before Loki's eyes.

"A Life Dragon. It possesses formidable vitality and can share its lifespan with its Master." Luke stuffed the little dragon into Loki's arms.

"Wait, wait, wait, don't move! Damn it, doesn't it understand me?" Loki was gripped tightly by the little dragon's limbs. Even through his clothes, he could feel the faint pain of its tender yet already sharp claws scraping over his skin.

The little dragon was nowhere near as obedient as it had been in Luke's hands. Instead, like a hyperactive child, it kept climbing over Loki, shifting its position as if trying to find somewhere comfortable.

At last, Loki felt a weight settle on his head. Looking up, he found that the little dragon had turned Loki's head into its nest, sprawled across his thick, neatly combed hair. Its claws curled together like a sleeping cat's paws, while its long tail became a rope, wrapping once around Loki's neck to secure itself.

Loki tugged uneasily at the smooth, icy dragon tail around his neck, but could not pull it loose. The little thing was surprisingly strong. Of course, Loki would never admit that he was simply too frail.

"You'll have to teach it. It's still a blank slate and curious about everything." Luke looked at Loki as he spoke.

"With it, can I beat that Hela?" Loki was eager to give it a try. He looked at Luke expectantly, yearning to hear an affirmative answer.

"You're dreaming!" Luke bluntly crushed Loki's hopes. "It's only a newly born hatchling. You expect it to help you defeat Hela?"

Loki froze
