"Still no word from them?" The reassembled Justice League had Diana Prince pacing restlessly across the floor. Ever since Bruce Wayne had begun planning some grand scheme, a certain unease had lingered in her heart. Recently, that unease had clearly come true.
"It won't be that fast." Aquaman Arthur Curry crossed his arms over his chest and leaned sideways against the back of the chair behind him, answering Wonder Woman Diana in a relatively calm tone.
"The Data Dimension has already closed. Clearly, Darkseid, the mastermind Steppenwolf mentioned, has done something. I can't think of anything worse than this. We've all entered the Data Dimension, and we all know what a wondrous and powerful place it is. If it falls into Darkseid's hands, his power will likely grow even stronger." Lex Luthor was somewhat displeased. As one of the intelligent ones, he placed immense value on the Data Dimension. To him, its functions were far more important than any Divine Artifact or power. He needed it, and every researcher and intelligent person on this planet needed it too!
As a humanist, Luthor had always believed that something capable of rapidly advancing the strength of human civilization had to be obtained. But now, the Data Dimension had closed. That was equivalent to cutting off the evolution of human civilization, as well as the future he had planned.
"We drove off the invaders, didn't we? He was powerful, sure, but we still beat him back. Why is everyone so serious?" Barry Allen raised his hand high, trying to make his voice sound cheerful as he sought to ease the tense expressions around him.
