"Your mood is low. Are you still blaming yourself?" Martian Manhunter Jones looked at Bruce Wayne, who had stood silently beside the surveillance screens for a long time, then stepped forward and gently patted him on the shoulder.

"No. I was just thinking about how this would end." Bruce did not turn around. His face shifted between light and shadow beneath the flickering glow of the screen before him, making his expression impossible to discern.

"Are you upset because they did not take us with them? Honestly, though saying this may hurt our pride, I think they might truly not need our help." Jones spread his hands. He did not want to admit it either, but perhaps that was simply the truth. Going with them would only make them a burden and a weak point.

"This major trouble began because of me, after all." Bruce fell silent for a moment before speaking with difficulty.

"Your original intention was to protect this world better, was it not? We all went through the disaster Thanos brought. Although it ended well and everything returned to normal afterward, even allowing this planet's civilization to make tremendous and welcome progress, we cannot forget that pain. So I understand what you did. You have just been acting alone too much." Jones comforted him. "We are a team, a team that has saved the world together. I hope you understand that sometimes, talking with others and discussing things is far better than making decisions alone and carrying every burden by yourself."

"Thank you," Bruce said softly.

"You are welcome. They will help resolve this trouble. And all we need is for this world to remain safe, right?" Jones believed he had found the source of Bruce's inner conflict, and he could indeed sense Bruce's tightly wound
