When Strange stepped into Ancient One Mage's library, there were already people inside. A man and a woman in mage robes stood there. The woman was so engrossed in the Spell Tome in her hands that she did not notice their arrival. The man seemed about to approach them, but Master Mage Wang stopped him with a wave of his hand.
Master Mage Wang did not disturb them either. He led Strange around that area and into a separate section between the bookshelves.
"Those two?" Once they had gone farther away, Strange instinctively sensed something unusual about them. Both carried some kind of special energy.
"They are two apprentices from Other Worlds who came here for further study. They are the Prince and Princess of two Human Kingdoms in a certain world. After establishing diplomatic relations with us, they sent the two of them to Kamar-Taj to study Kamar-Taj's magic," Master Mage Wang explained. "Their world was the World of Spell Origins for the previous Magic Library. It has energies known as Arcane and Fel. Jaina, the Princess, once studied at Dalaran, the Human Magic Sanctuary in that world. She has considerable talent."
"Looks like this isn't an isolated case? Aren't you worried that outsiders will affect your universe?" Strange was somewhat surprised. Under normal circumstances, life from another universe entering a universe would be regarded as invaders—dangerous beings who needed to be expelled, lest they have a major impact on that world and universe. Yet that theory did not seem to be followed here.
Especially not by Kamar-Taj, which served as the Guardians.
"This is indeed not an isolated case." Master Mage Wang nodded. "This universe differs from other universes. Strictly speaking, it has been strengthened and modified considerably. That gives it greater risk resistance and stability.
