"We can see it with our own eyes." Master Mage Wang was not surprised by Strange's distrust. Back when he had first heard the news, he had found it equally unbelievable. But those researchers from Hebron had forced it into reality. They had even kept innovating technologically, again and again refreshing his understanding of the Mystic World and shattering his worldview. Seeing the disbelief written all over Strange's face now, he vaguely saw his former self.
For a moment, Master Mage Wang suddenly felt that it might be quite nice to shatter this Strange's worldview a little more.
"See it with our own eyes?" Strange was stunned by Master Mage Wang's words.
"That's right. Nothing proves something better than seeing it with your own eyes, hearing it with your own ears, touching it with your own hands, and sensing it for yourself. Kamar-Taj happens to have several Grafted Ones undergoing psychological adjustment and living here right now. Want to come take a look with me?" Master Mage Wang stopped and turned to invite Strange.
Though Strange remained silent, he followed closely behind Master Mage Wang. Curiosity leaped wildly in his chest, thumping away and urging him onward.
Together, they arrived at a newly constructed hall. Much of Kamar-Taj's layout and architecture had become unfamiliar to Strange. There were more mages here, but the atmosphere was livelier as well. This liveliness meant the feeling of human presence.
The Kamar-Taj he remembered had mostly consisted of ascetics and monks, separated from the outside world. But this Kamar-Taj lacked that sense of isolation. People could be seen everywhere, as could mages in robes of all colors, power radiating from their bodies.
"I wanted to ask before we came in—what's with all those different robes? I don't remember Kamar-Taj having that sort of dress
