"What did you know?" Strange keenly detected a certain certainty in Stephen's magical projection.
"Actually, there wasn't much to say. The Time Variance Authority once captured several Galactuses in other universes and had Hebron and Stark study them together. Kamar-Taj had a hand in it too." Stephen's projection seemed to be considering whether he should reveal some information to Strange. Under Strange's gaze, he ultimately gave an astonishing answer.
"Oddly enough, hearing that doesn't surprise me much. But several of them—were they all avatars? Weren't you afraid of drawing the Main Body's attention?" Strange followed Stephen's projection out of the library, probing as he spoke.
As one of the Five Great Abstract Entities, the founding gods of the Great Universe, Strange knew of Galactus's reputation. After all, his teacher's destination in that universe had been Eternity, another of the Five Abstract Entities and one of the founding gods. He had followed Eternity away.
"The Energy Bank did want to use the avatars to find Galactus's Main Body, but unfortunately, he took the initiative to sever his connection with the captured avatars. In other words, the Galactuses in Hebron and Stark's possession had already become specimen materials—shells without will. One specimen was with Hebron, while the remaining damaged specimen was in Stark's hands. He modified it and named it the Anti-Celestial Armor." Stephen's projection spread his hands helplessly. "Believe me, most of the people in charge at the Energy Bank are inflated fanatics. Those demon gods will do anything to ascend."
"That was indeed crazy." Strange clicked his tongue softly, gaining an even deeper instant understanding of this universe's power and strangeness.
