After leaving those teasing words behind, Bibi Dong stopped using Divine Power Sound Transmission with Qian Daoliu. Decades ago, Qian Daoliu had led Spirit Hall's people in hunting down and encircling the Wolf Bandits. Unfortunately, the Wolf Bandits had been too quick, and those man-wolf, human-eating monsters had not been wiped out. A small portion had instead escaped deep into the Star Dou Great Forest, where they bred and multiplied for decades, growing their race strong once more. Had they not suddenly been exposed to Spirit Hall's soul masters, the entire continent would likely still have been unaware that the Wolf Bandits had returned.
After sitting up straight, Bibi Dong picked up her pen and wrote on the final page of the report: "This matter has been entrusted to the Great Priest and the elders. All border forces must be prepared to provide aid at any time."
She then continued reviewing the other documents, marking instructions on those that could be implemented and setting them aside. As for the financial reports that were obviously padded, she tossed them aside without even wanting to deal with them.
An hour later, all the documents had been handled. Bibi Dong rose from her seat and headed toward a teaching room nearby. By then, Hu Liena had already been waiting in the room for quite some time. Before Bibi Dong arrived, she sat there quietly and waited patiently.
In the Elder Hall's council chamber, Qian Daoliu looked over the elders with satisfaction. After nearly thirty minutes of emergency assembly, all fifteen elders had arrived. As soon as they sat down, Qian Daoliu said, "Everyone, the Wolf Bandits have appeared again."
"What? Great Priest, hadn't we nearly exterminated the Wolf Bandits decades ago?"
