After carefully sensing the Spirit Candle's feedback, Rogue frowned slightly and fell into thought.
The Spirit Candle had not chosen any of the four—order, Blazing Sun, night, or earth—but instead told him to contain the folly trait of the Touching Kindling one within Lanentrick.
Moreover, the Spirit Candle's feedback gave no specific reason. It seemed to be nothing more than an instinct.
And this vague instinct seemed to stem primarily from one of the Spirit Candle's inherent traits—the ocean trait.
"So, this was guidance left behind by Ocean Kindling..."
Rogue pondered this. It seemed his earlier guess had probably been correct.
Ocean Kindling was merely "lost." It might not have died, nor entered the death process that Burning World was supposed to have.
That was why it could make its own trait resist the Lord of The End, preventing him from obtaining the ocean trait.
And it could also offer him guidance.
Of course, these might also have been contingencies it left behind.
In any case, Rogue decided to follow this guidance.

"Don't worry. Lanentrick will be sustained by Candlefire."
