[—Past—]
After parking his little electric scooter downstairs, Rogue carried his late-night snack upstairs.
"These braised pork ribs and sausages need a good movie before I can dig in."
That was what Rogue was thinking.
Last time, he had bought a pile of delicious food only to watch a terrible movie. It had thoroughly disgusted him.
He absolutely could not make the same mistake this time.
After climbing another flight of stairs, Rogue took out his key and tried to unlock the door.
But the hand holding the key soon froze in midair.
Where was the door?
Rogue stared blankly at the wall before him.
He instinctively looked toward the floor number, only to find the hallway lights flickering wildly.
The next moment, the space around him began to distort unnaturally.
Even the floor beneath his feet twisted like noodles.
Splash!
Suddenly, a pool of blood and chunks of flesh fell in front of him. A monster's head landed at his feet, its one remaining intact eyeball staring straight at him.
What the fuck is going on?!
Before Rogue could cry out, darkness swallowed his vision, and he lost consciousness—
When he woke up again.
Rogue had arrived on a deserted island and was forced to begin surviving there.
The island was not large, but it was not especially small either. There were enough resources on it to keep Rogue alive.
Yet the bizarrely shaped fruit, the giant birds sweeping through the sky, and the strange cries drifting from the sea all struck Rogue as deeply unsettling.
Until one day, he found a strange Pink Seashell.
Rogue picked it up in surprise. Just as he was about to open its cap, a little head suddenly popped out and bit his finger hard.
"Go away! Don't even think about eating me!"
