The Dispute Begins

Of course, joking was one thing, messing around another.

For the players, whether Kainara's second phase was ugly or not did not matter. After all, they only liked Kainara in her first phase.

More importantly, once Kainara's second phase appeared and her true strength was revealed, she formed a stark contrast with the Ugly Elder from before.

This made some players wonder: could Kainara actually be the bad one? Was killing her the correct choice?

After all, by the usual logic of games, someone with this much power had to be the real boss.

Li Miao and Landfall had not made their post yet, so most players still had no idea that there was more to the cliffside fissure.

But as they progressed, the players' discussions quickly began to change.

Whether they killed the Ugly Elder or the Barren Shadow, their goal was to clear the trial. In the end, they would have to sacrifice a heart on the Night Stone Disk.

And so, after completing the sacrifice,

the players naturally encountered the trial's true final boss, Chaos Without Form.

However, unlike Li Miao and the others, once battle was initiated through a sacrifice on the Night Stone Disk, the fissure between the forest and the wasteland would close, and Chaos Without Form's battlefield would shift above the fissure.

Under these circumstances,

Chaos Without Form became even more troublesome. Not only did it retain its original "formless" nature, but after its health fell below half, it would gain a mixture of the Ugly Elder's and Barren Shadow's combat abilities. The exact result depended entirely on which one the player had chosen to kill.

But it was worth mentioning that if the player sacrificed the Ugly Elder's heart, Chaos Without Form would become far more aggressive.

It seemed to be angry
