The players' arrival shattered the original order of Gergada's Number One District. The quiet, solemn city was engulfed in artillery fire.
Li Miao took the brunt of it, drawing massive amounts of fire, while the other players in the team harvested enemy lives like scythes cutting grass.
They advanced rapidly, forcing their way from the edge of the district to an area near its center.
The Cross Bell reacted quickly as well.
Realizing that the guards and conventional forces were completely incapable of restraining the enemies before them, the Cross Bell's commanders changed their mission to harassment and delay.
Before long, new enemies arrived.
The Cross Bell showed no restraint, going all out and deploying all of its top combatants.
Large numbers of aircraft rose from the distance, interspersed with dozens of enormous metal cubes.
"The Cross Guardians have arrived on the battlefield!"
"The giant mechs have been activated!"
"Eliminate the invaders!"
One Cross Guardian after another descended from the aircraft onto the battlefield. They were fully armed, equipped with numerous replacement limbs and Gergada's runic mechanical armor. Their ignition points were all at least at the level of Fire Offering.
As for those enormous metal cubes, the moment they came into contact with their operators, they swiftly unfolded and reconstructed themselves, becoming Cross Judicators at the level of Saint of Blazing Fire.
In an instant, they formed an impenetrable web of attacks and charged at Li Miao and the others, intending to bury them here for good.
Yet Li Miao and the others felt no threat from this.
Kainara's powerful senses reacted. After her warning, Li Miao fixed his gaze on one area within the enemy camp.
That was the strongest presence in Gergada, clearly coming from within that Cross Bell Tower.
